Learning to differentiate destructive from constructive emotions so we can subdue the former and nourish the latter is a worthy endeavour on a person as well as societal level.
— His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the patron of the CEB program

Cultivating Emotional Balance (CEB) is an educational training committed to utilizing the experience of emotion as a path for developing the happiness of being for ourselves and in relationship to others.

Originally developed by Dr. Paul Ekman, Dr. Alan Wallace and Dr. Eve Ekman at the request of the Dalai Lama, CEB has expanded to become an internationally-acclaimed tool for teaching key emotional and contemplative skills for those in service professions and just about anyone who wants to understand and control their emotional landscape better.

Working closely with the current leaders of the international CEB community, including Dr. Eve Ekman, I trained as a CEB provider in 2019-2020 and became a certified practitioner. I have since then taught the program on a number of occasions.

My passion in this work is helping people find a deep yet accessible level of contemplative practice that comes out of the profound Buddhist methods and helps them establish a meaningful and deeply satisfying lifestyle imbued with a sense of compassionate responsibility.

I am open to discussing new opportunities for freely sharing the program in various settings, especially with small and medium-sized groups around the world.
